Please refer to the Conditions of Use v1.6. Users will be deemed to have read this document, and to have agreed to comply with it. Please print the booking form below, and return to the address stated on the form within 21 days (enclosing a cheque for payment).

Arrival & Departure of Parties.
Unless otherwise instructed, keys should be collected and returned to: Mrs. Anderson, High Court, Sandy Lane, Stockton-on-Forest, tel. no. 01904 400351 [the first bungalow opposite the entrance to Snowball, please see the map on the About Us page].

There are 4 keys: 1 for main gate padlock; 2 mortise for kitchen door at rear of Snowball Lodge [operates intruder alarm] - all other external doors fire doors, opening on inside without using a key; fourth key for key box in kitchen, containing keys for rest of the

Anyone wishing to use Snowball, whether it is a local Scout Group coming to play football, camping, a full weekend at Snowball Lodge, or an non scouting organisation, should first make arrangements with the appropriate Booking Secretary who will advise on availability, costs and the appropriate booking form to use.

We will have two Booking Secretaries, each dealing with specific areas at Snowball.

Booking the Lodge must be made through the Lodge Booking Secretary (Mrs Ann Fletcher) by email or by telephone 01904 410084

Bookings for camp sites, the arena, the large field, camp fire circle, the Centenary Building, the small Training Hut and the Activities Facilities must all be made through the Activities Booking Secretary (Mrs Clare Raley) by email or by telephone 01904 449949.

If telephoning either of the Booking Secretary, please do not phone after 8:30pm and not on Sundays.

20165 Prices:

Site Use - (non camping)
For York Ebor and York Minster Scout Groups there is no charge for evening/day/activity use – but all users MUST book in advance with the Booking Secretary.

Evening booking (other users) – 50p per person per evening, payable following the booking.

Daytime booking (other users) – £1 per person per day, payable following the booking.

Centenary Building
York Ebor and York Minster Scout Groups £5 per hour
Other users £10 per hour

Camping - (Standard Sites)
For York Ebor and York Minster Scout Groups there is no charge for camping – but all users MUST book in advance with the Booking Secretary.

For other users – camping is charged at £3.75 per person per night.

All users require a £10 deposit, balance must be paid on departure or by cheque sent to the Booking Secretary.

Camping - (Large field)
Use of the large field is set at a £50 minimum charge per weekend, thereafter at £3.75 per person per night.

The Lodge:
 Evening Users - full payment in advance

A deposit of £50 is required together with a further £50 as an accidental damage/additional cleaning returnable deposit – a total of £100. The balance is  payable two weeks prior to the visit.
